Ebay rush order

I cant believe this lady was let down - she bought some bunting from me on Ebay very desperately wanting it for her daughter for Christmas, after another seller let her down :( I was able to make and post the same day

Merry Christmas Matilda xx

(sadly i posted it so quick, i forgot to take a picture!)

Boy Bunting!

I had a Facebook order for some boy bunting - i like to use blues after a mountain of pinks!  I made a length for a little chap called Thomas
I really like the mixture of baby blue gingham, baby blue polka then the brightness of the royal blue

I also had my first request for some Pirate bunting, made with the two blue polka fabrics, Merry Christmas Jack xx

Busy on Facebook

My Facebook page has provided more interest than anywhere so far, i love the fact that it is open to anyone in the world!  This week i took orders for Christmas presents for little girls called Georgia, Mia, Lexi, Jade and a little boy called Herbie

I was also asked to make Herbie a matching Tag Blanket with the colours from his bunting, below is the finished article.  Made with two patterns of cotton and edged with 20 tags of different textures

My first Ebay Order!!

I took my first Ebay order last week, for a little lady called Santyna, she was after the girly patterns from the auction gallery picture which i was more than happy to make

My new Blog

Well, here's my new Blog, i guess i'm fed up of talking to myself when the kids are at school, so maybe ill get a few followers and some comments, so it feels like i've got company!  Where to start?  Well my Blog is about Bunting - catchy Blog title eh?!!  That is, to describe, making flags from fabric which get joined to a heading tape to be suspended on a wall, across a bed, fireplace etc, to look cute and finish off a room.

How my story begins......a friend asked if i could make bunting for her daughter, so i said id try with my daughters first for her to have a look at, so i made a 10 metre length of bunting for my two youngest who share a room, this was made with pinks, purples and white to go in their newly decorated room (which has 3 walls of white and 1 of cerise pink) said friend liked it and made an order - i added the pictures to my personal Facebook page, and got orders for 4 more lengths!  I then made a Facebook page and have so far had 2 enquiries, which is fantastic.  I love using my sewing machine - its nothing fancy and i got it second hand about 2yrs ago, but i use it at least 3 times a week and more if i get the time!
